Real Estate Asset Management Process

This process should be guided by a clearly defined and transparent real estate investment plan. Essentially, the process begins with an analysis of the existing real estate portfolio and how well it aligns with the investment objectives of the family. Once the portfolio has been analyzed and the strategy defined, a detailed business plan will be developed for each asset which accounts for lease terms, rental rates, cost benefit analysis, potential tenants, re-leasing costs and debt servicing.

Our asset managers will regularly report on the strategy and status of the business plans to ensure transparency and allow the family office to maintain an accurate understanding of each asset’s performance relative to the entire portfolio.

The overall investment strategy will be revisited annually and included in the annual portfolio strategy and performance report
